FieldHaven Cat Champ

FieldHaven Cat Champ

Hello to all of my FieldHaven fans and supporters. This is your old pal, the feline princess of Fieldhaven, Hot Rod.

I know that it has been a while since my last report. I told my favorite uncle Jared on Monday that he needed to quit wasting time on other insignificant things, like socializing with any other cat than me. I let him know that it was time that he got cracking on my next report to my wonderful friends and sponsors.

I do not plan on living at FieldHaven forever. I am in hopes that someday soon I will be lucky enough to be adopted, like my (cough) old friend Saber. I also know that once I am adopted, there will be many cats that will want to get in line to claim my title of FieldHaven Cat Champ. I want to remind all of those felines of a couple of things.

First of all, the title “FieldHaven Cat Champ” was not handed to me on a silver platter. For everything that I have gone through, from my bladder condition to my battles with cats like Saber, I more than earned the title. Secondly, it is very easy for the cat that wants to fill my paw prints to go around looking for fights and thinking that they are big and bad. Please remember this is not how I have gained my reputation. I have learned to let the bullies look for me and then I am ready for each fight when it comes. I have never liked being bullied around so why would I stoop to doing that to someone else?

There was a rumor going around that I will be staying at Dr. Jyll’s again later this month. The reason for this is that my staff mom is going to be visiting some animal rescue in Utah called Best Friends. I finally asked my staff mom Jann if there was any truth to this rumor. My staff mom said that the rumor is true and that she would be going to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary with my aunt Jen and another volunteer. My staff mom did promise to bring me back a souvenir from Best Friends, though.

Since I have not made any trips to Reno lately, I have to admit that I have gotten a little bored with life. I talked to my staff mom about this and she promised me that this summer we would be taking some camping trips! I have been working on my tent raising and campfire making skills.

I guess that is all for now.

Sincerely,
Hot Rod
