Adoption Flyer
Hi, everyone! It is the famous Hot Rod. I learned last week that my favorite uncle Jared was now my sponsor in helping me get adopted. This was originally my Aunt Joy’s idea and I for one think that it is a super idea that should have been done way before now. Way to go, Aunt Joy! As for my favorite uncle Jared now being my sponsor, I immediately got on the computer and sent him an email demanding that he make up a new adoption flier for me. This is what Uncle Jared came up with and I for one have to admit that it is not half bad.
Hot Rod
Name: Hot Rod
Sex: Female
Breed: Manx (maybe a little Calico)
Age: Born in 2007
Place of Residence: FieldHaven Feline Rescue, Lincoln, California
Job Title: Feline Sherrif / Hall Monitor (I might not be very big, but I am as tough as they come.)
Some interesting things about you: I hate being modest so I am just come to come right out and say that I am a very beautiful feline. I was born with a Manx disease that affects my bladder. Therefore, I have had to get used to having my bladder expressed two or three times each day. This is not a fun experience for me, but this has helped me achieve the tough reputation that I have.
Two favorite quotes for how you live your life: That is easy! (1) “I want what I want when I want it and I will not accept no for an answer” (I have to admit that I might be thought of as a little bit spoiled). (2) “The bigger they are the harder they fall.” What I mean by that is that a lot of cats have in the past have tried to pick on me in some way or another. I guess they thought I was so little that I would just roll over and play dead (let them walk all over me). In the end, though, it is usually them who run away crying after I have finished kicking their butts. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do not try to start fights, but I have no problem ending them.
What are some of your favorite hobbies? I love to race around the trailer. I love to play with other volunteers. My favorite game to play with volunteers is Hide and Seek. When I play this game, people always have trouble finding me. I also love cat treats and just regular cat toys.
What would be your perfect home? I have to be able to go outside. I am way too much of an explorer to be cooped up in a house all day, so inside/outside. Someone who knows how to express my bladder at least two times a day. The staff at FieldHaven can teach you how to do this. I would prefer to be the only cat (I like to be worshipped), but I am willing to put up with living with another nice cat or dog. I guess the perfect home is one where I would receive plenty of love and compliments on my good looks.
What is the cost to adopt you? From now until September 15, the cost is $50.00 to adopt me from FieldHaven.
