COVID Update from FieldHaven: March 2021

Placer and Yuba Counties, where FieldHaven has offices and facilities, are still under COVID restrictions. Our goal is to protect our staff and customers while offering services under the guidelines set forth by state and county public health officials.

FieldHaven is providing programs to help people and their cats during this challenging time. FieldHaven’s main location in rural Lincoln and the Hathaway Cat Resource Center in Marysville are open only by appointment.

We are continuing to offer spay/neuter services using protocols that have been established to allow spay/neuter to continue while keeping staff safe. Currently Hathaway Spay/Neuter Clinic is open two days a week.

Adoptions are being done by appointment.

FieldHaven Marketplace is open with minimal capacity for in-store shopping. The Marketplace is open Friday and Saturday for in-person shopping and 24/7 for online shopping on our Facebook page.

We are not intaking owner surrenders. For resources for rehoming, learn more about our Meow & Forever Program.

The Foster and Kitten Sitter programs continue with strict safety protocols in place.

Our Community/Cat Assistance Team (CAT) volunteers are available to help with resources for just about any cat-related issue. They can be reached by phone at (916) 434-6022 or by email [email protected] or [email protected].

If you or someone you know is a COVID patient and needs assistance with caring for their cats, please contact us. We can provide resources to assist COVID patients with their pets. We will be collaborating with other organizations to help meet the needs.

If you are interested in fostering a cat, please complete a foster application here.

We are committed to keeping our staff and volunteers safe while continuing to serve our community.

Thank you for your continued support.
