1,448 Cats and Kittens are Missing a Little Something…
Last year, FieldHaven spayed/neutered 1,448 cats and kittens through our Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP), nearly double the amount from the year before. That’s quite a leap from its humble beginnings in 2005, the year we first introduced SNAP by serving 159 cats. Fourteen years later, we have spayed/neutered nearly 9,000! This number does not even include cats brought into our adoption program or transferred to our partner programs.
Last year was the first full year our on-site Hathaway Spay/Neuter Clinic was in service. We are proud that 692 procedures were performed in the clinic. The rest were performed at our partner clinics, Animal Spay & Neuter and AnimalSave, to whom we are very grateful.
