About Sherri Greer

Sherri brings over 35 years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician to FieldHaven Feline Center. She started out in private practice for 19 years and then transitioned to shelter medicine. She worked at Placer SPCA and was instrumental in launching their spay/neuter clinic. After 9 years, she returned to private practice for several years, but always missed her work in the shelter world. In June 2020, she started at FieldHaven on a part-time basis, assisting in the Hathaway Spay/Neuter Clinic. In August 2020, she left private practice to return to her passion in shelter medicine. She loves ALL the kitties, but has a soft spot for the ferals! Bonus points if they have a white-tipped tail!

She shares her life with her husband of 31 years and her rescue cat, Kiki. She spends her spare time doing cross stitch, reading, and planning her next trip to Cabo San Lucas.
