About Roxie Edgett

I am from Maine, where I was a commercial fisherman for around fifteen years. After I retired, I found a job at a no-kill shelter for cats in Maine. I worked my way up from kennel attendant to vet tech. Eventually, I moved to California. I started out at FieldHaven as a volunteer. Joy was gracious enough to give me a job as a tech. I love what I do now and the people I work with are like family. Nowadays, I bounce around where I am needed, be it the medroom, adoptions, cat care, answering questions, or gretting people as they come in.
