Holiday, 2006
For the 4th year, FieldHaven is participating in the annual IAMS Home 4 the Holidays adoption campaign, sponsored by the IAMS Company and Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Once again, our adoptable kitties will be showcased in downtown Lincoln in a window display at Il Giardino. Il Giardino offers a wonderful variety of home and garden items, and during the holiday season, you can also adopt a cat or kitten to truly make your house a home.
Look for the FieldHaven kitties to arrive on Friday, November 24 and be in the window Thursday through Saturday each week through Christmas. Adoption counselors will be on hand to help you find the best new family member to bring home for the holidays.
This year, we’ve added a whole new way to join in the feline fun right from the comfort of your home. While the kitties are in the window, we’ll have a live webcam so you’ll be able to see who’s being naughty and who’s being nice just by logging onto our website! The KittyCam will allow us to virtually showcase our wonderful adoptable all over the world!
As part of the national 2006 IAMS Home 4 the Holidays adoption campaign, FieldHaven will be joining up with over 2,000 other shelters to find homes for a goal of 350,000 dogs and cats. If you or someone you know is looking to bring a new feline friend into your/their home, please consider giving a homeless kitty a home and come visit FieldHaven.
There will be plenty of other activities and fundraisers during the holiday season. Check our website for an updated calendar of events.
This year, we feature the art of Ann Ranlett, who lives in nearby Newcastle. Ann has created a painting of Levi, a former FieldHaven resident. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the painting and prints will be donated to FieldHaven. Complete details are available at www.fieldhaven.com.

Home 4 the Holidays 2005 Edition
Here is what we heard from some of the kitties adopted during the 2005 Home 4 the Holidays adoption campaign. We love to stay in touch with our FieldHaven Alumni. We like to think of their Forever Home Families as an extension of our FieldHaven Family. Please drop us a line or visit our FieldHaven Alumni Facebook Page to let us know how your family members are doing.
Hi,
We adopted two of your cats last December. Wanted to let you know everyone is doing great. They are both wonderful cats. Huey is an absolute love. He shocked everyone at the Vets office when he weighed in at 18-pounds and then fell asleep in her sink – he is on a diet and doing great because now that it is summer he is outside a lot chasing Sonny.
Sonny is a little more independent but comes better when he is called. He loves to wrestle with Huey and is always hunting something or other. Have sent you a few pictures – they love to drink from our waterfall outside. They have a big yard to play in and the run of the house – they both love to find new places to sleep.
Huey’s favorite is in front of the computer screen when we are working. His only bad habits: diving for paper clips on the desk and buttons on our shirts. Sonny has no bad habits.
We love them both and are very thankful for your wonderful program,
Mark and Peggy
One happy kitty – we LOVE her!

Hello all,
We wanted to send a note of thanks and a picture of pumpkin in her new home. She is fantastic and we love her more than anything. Thank you for your kindness in the adoption process and for your continued concern for her care. We cannot thank you enough!
Sincerely,
Stephen and Jessica
Last year my wife and I adopted a cat from your location in the garden store on G St. in Lincoln We both are so much in love with Wyatt and it is all because of the way you cared for him while in your care. He is a special little friend and we are just thrilled that we have him.
Sincerely,
Jeff & Sherry
