SNAP to It: A Successful Day of Our Spay/Neuter Assistance Program

Tuesdays are always busy at FieldHaven, because it’s Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) Day. This Tuesday was especially busy.

Here is our list of accomplishments for the day:

• Twenty-nine (29) community cats spayed/neutered at Hathaway Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal Spay & Neuter
• Seventeen (17) adoption program candidates from under resourced shelters in the north state transferred to Humane Society Silicon Valley
• Countless people and cats helped by our Community/Cat Assistance Team (CAT) and Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) staff and volunteers
• Nearly every female cat we’ve seen in clinic for the past several weeks has been either in heat or already pregnant; now is the time to get community cats fixed
