About Joseph Camillari

Hi, I’m Joseph! I’ve lived in Lincoln, California, my whole life, and my love for animals has been a big part of who I am. Growing up, I not only had a Siamese cat named Simon but also developed a deep love for aquatic life. I maintained a large aquarium for most of my life, and as a kid, I enjoyed learning about my fish and taking care of them. One of my favorite fish was a small-sized shark named Sharky.

Nowadays, I share my home with three wonderful rescue dogs: Luci, a sweet Dachshund/Terrier mix, Luca, a senior Italian Greyhound, and Robert, a short but sassy Chihuahua.

I joined the FieldHaven team in early 2024 after volunteering for some time and falling in love with the amazing staff and all the kitties. Working here has been a dream come true, allowing me to combine my passion for animals with my work.

When I’m not caring for the cats at the shelter, I enjoy diving into new topics, especially math and physics. I also have a range of hobbies, including radios, collecting vintage electronics and vinyl records, and photography.
