About Angie Barreto

My introduction to FieldHaven came over 8 years ago when we adopted out first FieldHaven alum, a long, tall tuxedo cat now named Zorro. I found the organization and shelter to be warm and welcoming, working diligently to find safe and loving homes for all their temporary feline residents. Shortly thereafter, I attended a fund raiser and I have been involved with FieldHaven ever since. I have volunteered, helping with events and outreach, logistics, the FieldHaven Marketplace, and served on the Board for several years. When the chance came along to work with the volunteer program, I felt it would be a great way to continue serving the organization by working with the volunteers and staff.

In addition to working at FieldHaven, I have over 20 years experience as a real estate broker in the South Placer area. I also enjoy travelling, boating, swimming, wine and music with my husband George. We live with our two FieldHaven alum, Zorro and Remi, along with our crazy German Shorthair Dixie Lee. I am happy that after twenty years, FieldHaven is still making a wonderful and pawsitive impact on the community.

Engaging and empowering communities to ensure every cat has a safe place to live.
