Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during surgeries and medical procedures in our high quantity spay and neuter clinic, providing the highest standard of feline care.
• Administer medications, monitor post-surgery recovery, and maintain detailed patient records.
• Work closely with the team in maintaining a sterile, organized clinic.
• Collaborate in community outreach initiatives like vaccine and microchip clinics when needed.
• Manage inventory and help ensure the clinic runs smoothly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by educating cat owners about pre/post-operative care.
• Help improve clinic efficiency through team collaboration and input on program development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary assistant, surgical assistant, or RVT (1-5 years preferred).
• Must be a licensed RVT (for RVT positions) in good standing with the California Veterinary Medical Board.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks like lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be passionate about feline welfare and dedicated to making a difference.
