Meet Etincelle!
Meet Etincelle!
New Year, new story! Etincelle (eh-ten-seal) is French for “sparkle.” She arrived from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine not long ago. She had been in their ER after she survived a house fire! She has minor burns on her feet and a singed coat (she feels like a Brillo pad), but she is young (three months), fabulous, and quite the charmer!
She was named after the ER resident who is French, and, well, fire *does* sparkle!
Etincelle was transported by Sue, a UCD RVT, who also brought us Holly, our paralyzed kitten (not anymore!) last month. The good news? Etincelle is OK! She was transferred to another foster last night and already she’s settling in just fine.
