A 27-year veteran of the financial services industry, Stacy Rea Thomas is a senior vice president, Senior Engineering Manager, with a global financial institution.
With a diverse background, Stacy has worked in hardware planning, data center management, channel extension, project management, supply chain, audit, risk management, data and analytics, infrastructure architecture, enterprise architecture, architecture oversight and Cloud Governance and currently in Payments Technology.
There hasn’t been a time in Stacy’s life that she wasn’t owned by a cat. Starting with a three legged Chocolate Point Siamese named Heidi Gus and fast forward to current day her three fur balls: Lola, Earl Grey, and Uisce.
Stacy learned about FieldHaven when her son had to do a school project. When the project was complete they could not stop and continued volunteering.
Stacy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism, a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, ITIL Expert, Leading Agile and Scrum Master certifications. At the start of COVID, she went back to school to get her Master of Business Administration.
She is married to her husband, Bruce, a retired Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Service Captain / Paramedic of Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Services and have three wonderful sons (Brandon, Devon and Justin). Recently, they have moved to a farm in Lincoln, California where they have a year round garden, full fruit orchard, two dogs, the cats, and a variety of farm animals.
Stacy is excited to serve the community and the cats that reside here as a FieldHaven Board of Director. So much great work to continue and build upon.
