About Afton Parker

Afton is a second-year RVT student in Yuba College’s Veterinary Technology Program, due to graduate this May with an additional degree in General Science. She has a passion for shelter medicine and hopes to make this her specialty. Formerly a theater professional (with a certificate in Musical Theater from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy NYC) she was inspired to pursue a career with animals after working a “day job” at Dane County Humane Society outside of Madison, WI.
