Cats with missing parts. FIV positive. A bit too playful. Senior Cats.
We here at FieldHaven know that each of these 'adoption challenged' cats are full of purrsonality and are so deserving of a good home. But when one of these cats sits next to a bouncy young fuzzy blue-eyed ball of fluff at the adoption event, he or she usually goes back to FieldHaven while the other more attractive kitty gets a home. Because these special kitties have spent so much time at FieldHaven, we've gotten to know each of them well, and know they would make a great forever pets, if only that special someone would come along and see past the surface - to their true potential.
Here are FieldHaven's AC Kitties - you can see that all they need is someone with a little patience and caring and they will shine!
FieldHaven's Current Adoption Challenged Kitties:
Why AC Cats Rule:
Physically challenged cats are often unaffected by their handicap, but you still look like a hero!
Older cats are mellower - you don't have to worry about your lamp getting knocked over!
Black cats make it easy to accessorize - black fur goes with everything.
You form a tighter bond with behaviorally challenged cats as you overcome obstacles together.
Caring for cats with health challenges makes you feel needed - it's a great feeling!
