Just wanted to let you know that Lilly continues to get braver by the day. She still doesn't want a lot of attention, but she definitely wants to know what Kirk and I and the other kitties are doing. She has joined the other kitties in their early morning wet food ritual. She's even rubbed up against us as we are preparing the food, but then runs away for her comforting familiar Science Diet. Initially, she would hide under any bed available, but she has decided that our bed is her favorite to hide under. However, she spends most of her time in the special kitty window seats. She loves to run and play with the cat nip mice when we are NOT around. We often hear her running from one end of the house to the other, but when we try to "watch" her she gets shy and still.
She seems to be very interested in her surroundings and likes to be near the other cats, however she is not very curious. She doesn't really explore or try to find new places - probably because she has had enough adventure in her life so far. We all know what they say about curiosity and cats, so I am thankful she is not very curious.
We are really enjoying her and love watching her develope into a confident kitty. We'll eventually take some pictures for you when she is ready to be photographed!
