Description: Hi there! Iím Dewey and Iím unique for a number of reasons! First off, youíve probably noticed that I only have three legs. When I came to Fieldhaven, their vet found out that I had a cancerous dew claw on my front right leg and I had to have my leg removed. Being a tripod kitty hasnít slowed me down; though, I can still get around just fine (just watch me when itís time for dinner!). Second, youíve probably noticed that my fur is a striking color of black smoke with a powder gray undercoat. I donít know if the color of my fur had anything to do with it, but check out the whiskers on my face. Most are black but I have several white whiskers only on the left side of my face! Iím very affectionate and love to be with you. I am definitely a lap cat! If Iím not sitting in your lap (getting chin rubs from you, of course), youíll always find me sitting on the floor near your feet. If I canít get on the bed, youíll find be sleeping on the floor next to the bed. I get along with other cats, but Iím not comfortable with dogs. I didnít come from a great environment before, so Iím learning things. First, Iíve found I like strings and teasers. Second, some activities and loud noises might spook me, so I might do better in a quieter home. Also, since I came from the outside world, I'm still learning to use my scratch post. While I will be a great addition to your family all by myself, during my time in foster care Iíve become really good friends with my buddy BB (aka Brownís Black). BB looks like me, just a little smaller (see our picture!), so, he could pass as my little brother! We get along great Ė we play and rough house together; we sit together (frequently on your lap), and we love to groom one another.

FIV Positively Adoptable!

My adoption fee has been SPONSORED! Thank you David and Deanna!

All cats and kittens have received age-appropriate vaccines and are spayed/neutered and microchipped.
